Fluid inclusions

Slightly modified atoll inclusion in consequence of heat treatment, and myriads of white dots. 66x
Two different generations of primary inclusions are found by Bruder (1996) but no data on secondary fluid inclusions are presented. Additional primary inclusions as well as pseudosecondary and secondary inclusions are presented by Rakotondrazafy et al. (1996).

It is evident that different generations of sapphires are formed in different formation conditions (P,T). Late sapphires (pseudosecondary generation) grew in similar P/T conditions as hibonite, but probably from different fluids, as will be discussed later.
