Additional features, worth mentioning are different types of streamers and 'clouds' as well as rutile needles. Such inclusions are also very often found in sapphires originating from Kashmir, Burma and Sri Lanka. Most conspicuous at first sight are the blue phantoms and colour zones (Sources A, B and D). The phantoms very often represent a precise replica of the crystal's habit at initial growth stages.
