The different inclusions found during these investigations are shown in Table I in comparison to the findings of other authors. The authors of this text identified inclusions by combination of optical and SEM-EDS analyses. Mineral inclusions occur very frequently and consist of different species, all of which, however, took an active part in the sapphire's life story.
