Lot 14 A Sapphire and Diamond Foliate Brooch

Designed as a leaf set with oval-shaped sapphires and rose-cut diamonds to the pavé-set diamond sprig, mounted in 18k white gold, 7.0 cm long
The total weight of the sapphires is 33.97 carats
Accompanied by report no. GRS2006-110905 dated 9 November 2006 from the Gem Research Swisslab stating that the sapphires are of Burmese origin, no indication of thermal treatment

According to the GRS the sapphires are blue to vivid blue colour (GRS type "royal blue")
