Lot 1620 An Antique Style Ruby and Diamond Butterfly Clip Brooch

The wings set with numerous rubies with circular and rose-cut diamond detail, mounted en tremblant to the circular and rose-cut diamond head, thorax and abdomen, with circular-cut diamond antennae, mounted in silver and gold 11.0 cm. wide.

With certificate GRS2000-01277 dated 25 January 2000 from the GRS Gemresearch Swisslab stating that the 69 rubies are all of Burmese origin and shows no indication of thermal treatment.
