Lot 40 Sapphire and Diamond Brooch

Designed as a bird, the body set with an oval-shaped sapphire weighing 34.70 carats, the head pave-set throughout with brilliant-cut diamonds, the eye highlighted with a fancy-shaped ruby, mounted in 18 karat gold.

Accompanied by GRL report number 9801147 stating that the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin. No indication of thermal treatment.
