Lot 710 Attractive Ruby and Diamond Butterfly Brooch. 78 Burmese Rubies.

The beautifully shaped wings set throughout with faceted rubies to the pave-set diamond highlights, the body pave-set with diamonds, completed with antennae terminated with a pair of circular rose-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold.
Accompanied by GRS report number GRS2000-06223 stating that the seventy-nine rubies are of Burmese origin and there is no indication of thermal treatment detected.
