Lot 1075 Attractive Ruby and Diamond Necklace

The flexible scalloped edge necklace, set with oval rubies of graduated sizes, supporting swags of brilliant-cut diamonds, joined by floral motifs each centring on a step-cut ruby surrounded by half moon-shaped diamonds, the rubies and diamonds together weighing approximately 76.20 and 33.50 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, length approximately 380mm.

Accompanied by GRS report numbered GRS2007-032320, dated 19 March 2007, stating that the 66 rubies are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indication of thermal treatment.
