Lot 1774 Sapphie and Diamond Necklace

Suspending nineteen graduated pear-shaped sapphires, each surmounted by an oval or cushion-shaped sapphire, the sapphires together weighing approximately 63.92 carats, to a necklace composed of marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 22.50 carats, mounted in platinum, length approximately 410mm.

Accompanied by GRS report numbered GRS2009-102549 dated 15 October 2009, stating that the sapphires are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, Blue to Vivid Blue colour (GRS type "Royal Blue"), with no indication of thermal treatment.
