Left side: Natural orangy-pink sapphire enhanced with the new method E(IM), cut in half and tested with Laser Ablation (LA-ICP-MS) (see craters).
Right side: Two halves of a pre-polished violet sapphire - The half on the left unheated, and the other orangy-pink half enhanced by heat with the new method. Note: Color change towards more orange is due to enhancement with the new method.
