This ruby is considered a World Record ruby in its weight category of 8 to 9 carats.

Quality details as described below

Color. The combination of hue (= red), tone (= low) and saturation (= intense) results in a color subjectively described as excellent.

Clarity. In terms of clarity (visibility of inclusions face-up to the naked eye) the inclusions are not obvious.

Brilliancy. The combined effect of color, proportion, shape, cut style and transparency of the gemstone results in extremely lively reflections in all areas.

Rarity. Regarding the weight of the gemstone in combination with the above characteristics, the rarity can be determined as WORLD RECORD in its category 8-9 cts (not more than approximately 100 stones available world wide).
