No indication of thermal enhancement: Rubies and/or sapphires have not been subjected to heat-treatment to relatively high temperatures, e.g. rutile silk not dissolved, no healing of cracks, and/or blue zones in rubies are present. No residues are present. Low temperature heat treatment with no obvious effects on color or clarity enhancement however, may have been applied.
